the challenge

The Great Outdoors Foundation’s impact had outgrown its identity.

It needed a brand that reflected its ability to unite unlikely allies, solve politically charged conservation challenges, and inspire confidence among donors, collaborators, and communities alike.

we were curious

What if conservation could be framed not as conflict, sacrifice, or ideology—but as creative possibility built through optimism, collaboration, and practical action?

genuine human understanding

People want cleaner water and healthier landscapes, but they resist either-or choices. They respond to leaders who lower the temperature, find common ground, and turn shared interests into real progress.

the wild idea

Where Others See Problems, the Great Outdoors Foundation sees Possibility.

We positioned the organization as a happy disruptor in conservation—an apolitical ally that makes allies, not enemies, to unlock generational impact.

the result

The new brand gave Great Outdoors Foundation a clearer, modern and more powerful identity:

optimistic, inventive, and credible. The brand reflects the organization’s outsized impact and strengthens its ability to rally support, unlock funding, and lead complex conservation work forward.
